The 1099-MISC e-filing section in Buildium allows you to enter relevant tax information for vendors. Everything that you enter automatically records in Buildium and your bank account. This information will only be used at tax time if you’d like to generate your 1099s through Buildium. Have your vendors fill out a W-9 form (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) immediately so you aren’t waiting for it at the end of the year.
